Dog Waste Bag Dispenser and Rolls
The Compost-A-Pak® Dog Waste Bag and dispenser system is the sustainable alternative to managing dog waste.
Used successfully in some of Australia’s leading recreational parks and spaces, this popular system is proven to reduce litter and so help the manage the health and environmental risks associated with dog waste.
Designed and manufactured in Australia, the powder coated galvanised steel dispenser is built for durability. The unit holds a roll of 200 Australian Certified Compostable Dog Waste bags, and with a clever lip design, issues a single bag each time. The Compost-A-Pak® Dispenser can be fixed onto most vertical structures, including fences, MGB stations or poles, and can be locked with a single padlock addition.
Compost-A-Pak® Dog waste bags are made to a unique minimum micron ‘um’ standard, ensuring users have the durability they require when it really counts!

All Compost-A-Pak® Dog Waste Bags are made from a natural starch-based polymer derived from corn. We choose corn, as it is an annually renewable crop, unlike trees, which can take years to grow. The actual crops are sourced from international GMO-free regions with high levels of rain, to minimise irrigation, and the corn selected is third grade corn. This is basically spoilt corn, a waste product traditionally left by farmers to rot, that is not suitable for human or animal consumption.
Using purpose built biodegradable resin extruders, a resin is extracted from the combination of corn starch, biodegradable ingredients and some propriety elements and from this blown film bags are formed in a range of designs and sizes. We are really proud that through re-engineering this purpose-built equipment, our liners are made with significantly less electricity consumption, compared to manufacturing on conventional extrusion equipment. The products are also printed in soy-based inks, with environmental messages and information promoting their difference as a sustainable alternative to plastics. They have a recommended shelf life of twelve months.
Most importantly, Compost-A-Pak® Dog Waste Bags are Certified compostable to the stricter Australian standards, for both home composting (AS5810) and commercial composting (AS4736), as well as the relevant European, American and Japanese standards for commercial composting.
In the same way as vegetable scraps, dog waste and other organic matter, the products in their entirety will break down into humus, water and carbon dioxide in a commercial composting facility in a matter of weeks, or a little longer is composting a home in a dedicated animal waste system. These certifications ensure you can be confident there will be no harmful residue, or micro plastics as the liners break down.

The product is made predominantly of third grade corn, a waste product traditionally left by farmers to rot as it is unsuitable for human or animal consumption. The products are completely plastic free.
Just as nature intended, Compost-A-Pak® products will breakdown within a few weeks in commercial composting facilities, in the same way as a cob of corn would, leaving no micro-plastics or toxins. The nutrient rich compost can be then be used to nourish the soil, ensuring new organic crops or community gardens can thrive.
