The MultiSort system is a modular recycling solution, which provides you the flexibility to select individual recycling bins for each specific location, whether you choose a standard Four Stream solution for the common office space, a Confidential Paper bin for the photocopier room, and a Coffee Cup lid to manage contamination as people step out of the lifts each morning. The range even extends to more unique streams including solutions for clinical spaces and Soft Plastics or Dry Waste, for leaders in sustainability who are aiming for zero waste.

The lids are manufactured for durability in Australian Standard recycling colours. Each stream features differentiated apertures around which educational text and graphic symbols are printed. This information is printed directly onto the lid for durability. These features ensure people instantly recognise each stream without training, and also allows the lids to be wiped clean or disinfected without the risk of the dreaded sticker edges peeling.

Compost-A-Pak® Bin Liners are Australian Certified compostable. Just as convenient and durable, these plastic free liners are made of waste corn. They ensure the transition to a more sustainable option is a simple choice.

Call 1300 739 913Our most popular 60 litre MultiSort Base is made in Australia from 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Content, reflecting our teams passion and commitment to the circular economy.
The bases can be manufactured from either Polypropylene (PP No 5) or Low-Density Polypropylene (LDPE No. 4) which is collected in Australia as common recycling items such as milk containers, food packaging and plastic bags, often in the very bins being manufactured.
The other bases in our MultiSort range are made of LDPE and include a portion of recycled content. The Lids are all made of ABS, onto which we print directly. The MultiSort Confidential Lid also features a steel locking mechanism. These materials are recyclable at end of life.
If recycling facilities for this type of product are not available through your waste collection contractor, or in your local area, take advantage of Source Separation Systems’ Circular Economy Program. You can return any of our products to our warehouse in Newcastle, and we will ensure it is recycled.
In this case any steel is removed and the plastics are granulated with similar materials and colours, providing a precious resource which can then be used for the manufacture of new high-quality products.
Which Recycling Streams should you choose?
Landfill
Red is the Australian Standard colour for waste sent to Landfill, so this red system with clear pictorial labels is easily recognisable, which reduces contamination and limits training requirements. Red bases are also available for an even brighter system.
The worlds resources are limited. Sending items to Landfill limits the reuse of precious resources, and also creates environmental risks given the toxins, micro-plastics and gases associated with Landfill sites, which can escape into the wider environment. The aim of sustainability programs should be to minimise Landfill streams, and in leading organisations Landfill is eliminated with conscious sustainable ordering practices as well as recycling programs.
